Preventing Child Abuse
and Neglect
South Carolina First Steps
and the Strengthening Families Leadership Team are pleased
to partner with Zero
to Three to offer training to early childhood professionals
in an effort to prevent child abuse and neglect.
Funded by the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, the
State
Partnerships for Prevention Project provides two
components:

Training and resources for child care professionals,
who can then share information with parents and
families; and
-
Training for early childhood leaders who will help
child care professionals develop and use prevention
skills.
