2020 Kindergarten Readiness Assessment

Annually, the South Carolina Education Oversight Committee reports on the Kindergarten Readiness Assessment (KRA) Results. The Fall 2020 report was released on June 14, 2021. The KRA is designed to provide information on children's preparedness for kindergarten.

At the beginning of the 2020-2021 school year, the Modified Kindergarten Readiness Assessment (KRA) was administered to 48,521 kindergartners across South Carolina. The South Carolina Education Oversight Committee completed their analysis of the KRA Results in June of 2021.
