Every January, South Carolina First Steps and First Steps AmeriCorps honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. On MLK Day and throughout the week, First Steps staff, AmeriCorps members, board members, and volunteers come together to share the gift of reading with preschoolers across the state.
On March 21, 2024, we celebrated a memorable milestone – 25 years of First Steps – with our third annual Night to Celebrate Community.
