Position Overview:

The HIPPY Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day implementation, supervision, and support of the Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY) program. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure high-quality service delivery to families in the community. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, train, and coach a team of HIPPY Home Visitors
  • Oversee outreach and enrollment of eligible families
  • Monitor implementation fidelity of weekly home visits
  • Support data collection, reporting, and documentation efforts
  • Collaborate with schools, community organizations, and health agencies
  • Organize and facilitate parent group meetings, trainings, and events
  • Ensure compliance with HIPPY USA and SC First Steps guidelines
  • Participate in supervisor trainings and ongoing professional development

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Development, Social Work, or related field
  • Supervisory or coaching experience (preferred in family engagement or early education settings)
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
  • Experience working with diverse populations in rural communities
  • Proficiency with email, Zoom, Microsoft Word/Excel, and data systems
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the HIPPY model and/or home visiting programs
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
  • Resident of Allendale, Hampton, or surrounding area
